Hungry Frog Restaurant in Oklahoma City

Great food, great portions, great price, great friendly serfice :)

My gf and I ate here for HER first time ever, and it was just as great food and service as it was when my Dad took me here as a kid, 20+ years ago

Today i decided to try it out as im new to this area and let me say it is AMAZING. The food was excellent, service was not only friendly but helpful and service was fast. I will for sure be coming back again soon.

My daughter-in-law and I were watching two granddaughters in a volleyball tournament at the OKC fairgrounds and had a break long enough to go out and grab breakfast. Picked the Hungry Frog because it was close and had good reviews. Turned out to be an excellent choice. Breakfast was great and we liked it so much that we went back in the afternoon for lunch which was just as good. Friendly, efficient staff, good food at reasonable prices. Hard to beat. Will definitely go back if I'm ever in the neighborhood. They have soft ice which would be worth a sixth star in my book.

Although the Hungry Frog has been around for decades and I've even lived in Oklahoma for almost 25 years, I always passed by this little diner without taking any real interest. However, I was personally taken to the Hungry Frog by one of their strong fans and was treated to the BIG HAM breakfast. (This is one place, that you get what is advertised!) The ham itself required a separate plate, was about 1/2 thick and grilled for great flavor. I had the eggs and home potatoes (with the optional bell pepper and onions) along with their biscuit and gravy - all for about about $8. WOW that's an incredible price for an incredible meal.

The food was pretty scrumptious and the staff is very friendly.

Interesting little hole-in-the-wall diner might have been there as long as I've been alive, dated yet quaint experience overall good food if going with friends however I probably would not be taking a date there

Our first time here, and this place is well worth it. Tabitha was our server, and she was awesome. Since this was our first time here, I asked her what her favorite item was. I ordered the chicken fried steak sandwich just how she told me to, and I did not regret it. It probably cost me all of my daily calories for the day, but it was well worth it!

Last of the greasy spoons!!! Come here every week, you won't be sorry!

It's exactly what it purports to be, a small American diner. The food is a mix of typical American breakfast options, and the lunch/dinner options range from burgers to pot roast. The food is tasty. Burgers are delicious! Don't come if you're looking for health options, they ain't got em! Things are fried, seasoned and have plenty of butter. The decor is so typical you'd think it was a movie set, right down to the macrame plant holders and slightly dusty light fixtures. Staff is friendly and kind. Parking lot is small.

Small diner, which is totally fine. Food came pretty quick! We had our son with us in his stroller, they acted like it was an inconvenience when it should have been good because you guys are getting buisness. I get it, the diner is small, but we have to have our stroller. Otherwise the food was really hot and delicious.

Cute little diner covered in frog figurines and pictures. Paid just under $7 for a massive 1/3 pound burger that was extremely good, and a double order of fries. A definite, "must try" place, because you WILL come back again. I know I will!

Friendliest staff and delicious food. Cannot count how many times I have driven by, but super glad I came in this time. Will be back!!!

Tried out Hungry Frog for the first time and got breakfast. They have the usual diner breakfast foods (pancakes, eggs, French toast, etc.). We were really pleased with the friendly service, the large portion sizes, and the flavor of the food. As you can see in the picture, I had an omelette with skillet potatoes and grilled onions and peppers that came with a home style biscuit and gravy. My husband had the chicken fried steak that came with 2 eggs, hash browns, and a home style biscuit and gravy. Everything was delicious, hot and fresh and we didn't have to wait very long before our order was brought out. The waitress was nice and seemed to know all of the regulars there. The place had a nice mom and pop feel. And apparently, the same cook has been working there for 43 years. They also have onion burgers and other lunch/dinner options that I look forward to trying on a different visit.

Good food, but there's not a lot of parking or seating.

I finally found my breakfast diner... Reminds me of the Diner I used to go to every morning for breakfast in Philadelphia. The service is great.. the food is even better . And what makes it even more like a home asthma sphere,, The waitresses know everyone by name.. I will be returning everyday.. thank you to staff and the cook for your service..

Ordered the big ham breakfast and ordered a pancake had another breakfast left over! (Posted a photo) I will get toast next time because didn't care for the biscuit. So much ham that half of it is in my freezer for some beans or something I cook later. My eggs were less over medium and more over hard than I prefer but it was a good experience and place. I will be back. The coffee was great and my boyfriend loved his scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. I loved the pancake and homefries with green bell peppers and onions.

This is one of the best places to eat breakfast and it's more affordable than the other high priced places and just as good if not better. This was my first time eating here and now I will return on a regular basis.

Fantastic, cozy and friendly. Great skillet potatoes and frog juice (aka coffee).

They have authentic biscuits bigger than cinnamon rolls with the best gravy and my personal favorite is their cookie butter tarts. The entire menu is inexpensive to boot. Don't judge this book by its cover because its definitely worth the visit

The place has good food but my complaint is the the one waitress that is working and handling everyone food and every did not wear a mask the entire time I was there. She had one on but just sitting on her chin. The only time I would see her put it on is if another employee would come out but, as soon as they went back to the back she would take it off. With what’s going on in today’s world I am discussed.
